A Comprehensive Approach to Addiction Treatment

Behavioral Health Group is committed to providing evidence-based treatment for addiction and co-occurring disorders. We take a patient-centered approach in evaluating each individuals needs and connecting them with the appropriate treatment program and resources. BHG Paducah offers medication-assisted treatment and non-medication treatment options. Our team of dedicated physicians, counselors and licensed clinicians work to provide individuals with the comprehensive support they need to take their lives back.

Medication-Assisted Treatment

At Behavioral Health Group, we understand that opioid addiction is a complex medical issue, not a moral failure. We are dedicated to providing effective evidence-based treatment for opioid addiction. We offer Medication-Assisted Treatment which utilizes a combination of FDA approved medication along with counseling services to provide comprehensive opioid addiction treatment. While taking part in our outpatient treatment programs, patients have the opportunity to continue productive lives within their families, jobs and communities.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment

BHG’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for addiction provides thorough and structured support while allowing participants to continue with their daily lives at home and in their communities. This program is designed for individuals who do not require inpatient care, may not need medication-assisted treatment or who may need more intensive psychosocial support in addition to a medication-assisted treatment program. Many new patients entering BHG's other medication-assisted treatment programs will benefit from IOP services during the stabilization process. Group counseling is the primary delivery method for our IOP services; however, individual and family counseling may be used in conjunction with group counseling when appropriate.

Getting Started

We know the first step to recovery is often the hardest. Our goal is to make getting started as easy as possible. The intake process consists of a diagnostic assessment by a physician and a team of clinicians to help determine the best course of treatment. This assessment will be followed by the induction dosing phase and regular counseling sessions. To learn more about what to expect or how to get started, contact us today.
